Terms of use

The terms on which you use this website — short, specific, and written to be read rather than scrolled past.

Please read this first.

These are website terms. They cover your use of countyhospital.in and nothing else. They are not the hospital's treatment consent form, admission agreement, tariff or refund policy — those are separate documents you are shown and sign at the hospital.

This text was written by the people who built the website and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is a plain-English statement of intent, not legal advice, and it may be replaced by a counsel-reviewed version.

What these terms cover

This website is published by The County Hospital and Research Centre, A-13, Vidhya Nagar, Narmadapuram Road, in front of Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh 462026. By reading it or using the appointment form on it, you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site — telephone the hospital instead. Every number is on the contact page.

How the site handles the details you type into it is covered separately, in our privacy policy.

What this website is

Two things, and no more. It is a description of the hospital — the departments, the consultants, the facilities, the health check-up packages and the insurers we work with. And it is a way to ask for an appointment.

What it is not:

  • It is not a patient portal. There is no login, no account and no way to see your reports or records here.
  • It does not take payments. Nothing on this site will ever ask you for a card number, a UPI PIN or a bank detail. If a page claiming to be ours does, it is not ours.
  • It is not a telemedicine service. Consultations happen at the hospital, not through this website.

Not medical advice

Everything published here — department pages, doctor profiles, health packages, the health library and the answers to common questions — is general information about the services this hospital provides. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it does not replace a consultation with a doctor who has examined you.

Do not start, stop, delay or change any treatment because of something you read on this website. Medicine is specific to the person in front of the doctor, and a web page cannot be.

Using this site does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That begins when you are seen at the hospital.

Emergencies

This website is not monitored in real time. An appointment request, an email or a WhatsApp message may not be seen for some hours. Never use any of them to report a medical emergency.

If someone is seriously unwell, ring the casualty line on 0755 351 1422 or come directly to the emergency entrance. It is staffed 24 hours a day, every day, and you do not need an appointment.

Appointment requests

The form at /appointment sends a request, not a confirmed booking. Submitting it does not reserve a slot and does not oblige the hospital to provide one. A member of staff telephones you on the mobile number you gave to confirm the day, the time and the consultant. Until you have had that call, you do not have an appointment.

A consultant you have asked for may not be available on the day you wanted, in which case we will offer you an alternative time or an alternative doctor. Clinic timings and doctor availability change, including at short notice when a consultant is called to an emergency.

If you cannot attend, please tell us so the slot can go to somebody else.

Accuracy of information

We take care to keep this site accurate, and we would rather leave something out than publish a claim we cannot stand behind. Even so, details change: consultants join and leave, clinic hours move, equipment is added, and package contents and prices are revised.

Prices shown for health check-up packages are indicative and subject to change. They do not include anything beyond what is listed, and they are not a quotation for treatment. Please confirm the current price at reception before you book. The same goes for timings and for whether a particular consultant is available.

Insurance and cashless information tells you which insurers and third-party administrators the hospital works with. Whether your specific policy covers a specific treatment is always your insurer's decision, never ours.

If you spot something on this site that is out of date or wrong, please tell us at countyhospitalbhopal@gmail.com. We will fix it.

Your side of it

When you use this website, we ask that you:

  • give accurate details on the appointment form — a wrong mobile number means we cannot call you back, and the request goes nowhere;
  • only submit somebody else's details if you are their parent, guardian or attendant, or they have asked you to;
  • do not submit false, abusive or deliberately misleading requests, or use the form to send anything unlawful;
  • do not attempt to interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or overload it with automated requests;
  • do not scrape, republish or resell the site's content, photographs or doctor listings.

We may decline or ignore a request that appears to be spam or made in bad faith, and we may block access to the site where it is being misused.

Found a security problem? Please email countyhospitalbhopal@gmail.com and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else. We will not treat a good-faith report as an attack.

Content and photographs

The text, design, logo and photographs on this website belong to The County Hospital and Research Centre unless stated otherwise. The photographs in the gallery are of this hospital, its staff and its camps.

You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own personal or clinical reference, and to link to any page here. You may not reproduce the photographs, reuse the logo, or republish substantial parts of the text commercially without asking us first. Please do not present this hospital's material as your own or imply an association that does not exist.

Availability and liability

We try to keep the site up, but we cannot promise it will always be available or always free of faults. It may be offline for maintenance, and the appointment form may occasionally fail to reach us — which is precisely why the form offers you a telephone number and a WhatsApp fallback when it does.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from the website being unavailable, from an appointment request not reaching us, or from your relying on general information published here instead of asking a doctor.

None of this limits the hospital's responsibility for the care it actually provides. Clinical responsibility is a matter of medical law and the hospital's own obligations to its patients, and a website notice neither adds to it nor takes anything away from it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about this website is intended to be dealt with by the courts at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the site changes. The date below shows when it was last revised, and the version published here is the one that applies. No version history is kept, so save a copy if the wording matters to you.

Questions go to countyhospitalbhopal@gmail.com, or ring us on any of the numbers on the contact page.
