Cashless treatment under Ayushman Bharat
The County Hospital provides cashless services under Ayushman Bharat, so eligible families can be admitted and treated without paying upfront.
Cover depends on the scheme package applicable to your treatment. Our insurance helpdesk will confirm what is covered before admission wherever the situation allows.
Bring these with you
- Your Ayushman Bharat card
- A photo ID for the patient
The insurance helpdesk sits at the front desk and is staffed around the clock. Come to it before admission wherever the situation allows, and we will tell you what the scheme covers for your treatment.

Availing cashless hospitalisation
Four steps, in the order they happen. Start them as early as you can — a pre-authorisation raised before a planned admission gives the insurer time to respond.
Step 1. Bring your policy details
Carry your health insurance card or policy details with you, along with a photo ID for the patient.
Step 2. Visit the insurance helpdesk
The helpdesk sits at the front desk and is staffed for support around the clock.
Step 3. We raise the pre-authorisation
Our team initiates the pre-authorisation request with your insurer or TPA and follows it up directly.
Step 4. Get treated without paying upfront
Once the insurer approves, admission and discharge run cashless — no upfront payment is required during hospitalisation.
If the insurer does not approve
The decision on a pre-authorisation rests with your insurer or TPA, not with the hospital, and we cannot promise that a request will be approved or say how long one will take. If the insurer does not approve the request, our team will guide you through filing a reimbursement claim instead. In that case the bill is settled with us in the usual way and you claim it back from your insurer afterwards.
Before you come in
What to bring
Carrying these makes the pre-authorisation quicker to raise — most delays come from a missing policy number or an ID that does not match the name on the policy.
- A photo ID for the patient — Aadhaar, voter ID, driving licence or passport
- Your health insurance card, or your Ayushman Bharat card
- Policy details: the policy number, and the TPA name if your card carries one
- Previous prescriptions, discharge summaries and any earlier reports
