In development
The County app is being built
It is not finished, and there is nothing to download yet. Rather than put up a page with two store badges that go nowhere, here is exactly what it will do, what you can do in the meantime, and how to be told the day it goes live.
Where this actually stands
The app is in development. It has not been released on the App Store or the Play Store, and no release date has been fixed. When one is, it will be announced on this page, on WhatsApp and on our social channels.
Nothing on this page is a screenshot. The interface has not been designed yet, so the artwork below is an illustration of the shape of the thing, not a preview of it.
The plan
Four things, done properly
This is the whole scope, not a teaser of it. If something is not on this list, it is not being built for the first release.
-
Book and reschedule appointments
Pick a department or a named consultant, choose a date and a time of day, and change it later without ringing the hospital. Today this is a form and a phone call back; in the app it will be a confirmation you can see.
-
Lab and radiology reports
Pathology results, digital X-ray and ultrasound reports collected in one place, so you are not carrying a folder of paper between consultations or waiting at the desk for a copy.
-
Teleconsultation
A follow-up with your consultant from home, for the visits that do not need you to travel — reviewing a report, checking on a wound, adjusting a prescription after surgery.
-
Pharmacy ordering
Reorder from the hospital pharmacy against a prescription already on file, rather than starting again at the counter each month.
In the meantime
Everything the app will do, you can already do — it just takes a phone
None of these need an account, an install or a password.
-
Book online
The appointment form takes about a minute. Choose the department or the consultant, and the hospital rings back to fix the slot.
Open the form -
Message us on WhatsApp
Ask for the next available slot, or send a photograph of a prescription or a report. This is the closest thing to the app that exists today.
Open WhatsApp -
Call the appointments line
Ring +91 92381 71911 during OPD hours. If you are not sure which speciality you need, describe the problem and reception will place you.
Call now
No app will ever be the right route in an emergency. Call the casualty line or come straight to the emergency entrance — it is staffed 24 hours a day, every day.
Be told the day it launches
There is no mailing list to sign up to, because we would rather not hold an address we are not going to use. Send us a WhatsApp message instead and we will reply on that same thread when the app is live.
